A leading private hospital group is seeking an experienced Principal Medical Physicist to oversee all aspects of Radiation Oncology Physics within a brand new cancer centre opening in Limerick, Ireland later this year.

This senior role includes responsibility for equipment commissioning and calibration, comprehensive quality assurance programmes, advanced treatment planning (3D-CRT, IMRT, VMAT, radiosurgery, brachytherapy), Medical Physics Expert (MPE) review, radiation safety compliance (EPA/HIQA), and day-to-day coordination of the Medical Physics service.

Requirements:

• MSc/PhD in Medical Physics (or related discipline)

• Registered/eligible MPE (Ireland/UK/EU/US/Canada)

• Strong experience in Linac calibration, QA, and advanced radiotherapy techniques

• Leadership experience desirable
