European Congress of Medical Physics (ECMP)

The main purpose of the European Congress of Medical Physics (ECMP) is to advance and disseminate medical physics and medical technology knowledge and promote the medical physics profession in Europe and worldwide.
Since 1987 to 2016, EFOMP has collaborated with National Organisations in holding regular European Conferences of Medical Physics. In 2016, the 1st European Congress of Medical Physics (ECMP) was organised by EFOMP in Athens, Greece. ECMP is a biennial event, rotating among various countries in Europe and is is held at the end of August or beginning of September. Due to the Covid pandemic, ECMP2020 was held online.
