21st Asia-Oceania Congress of Medical Physics (AOCMP)

The “21st Asia-Oceania Congress of Medical Physics (AOCMP)”- the official yearly congress of the Asia-Oceania Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (AFOMP) hosted by the Bangladesh Medical Physics Society (BMPS) is going to be held from December 10-12, 2021 at the United International University (UIU), Dhaka Bangladesh. The congress has already been endorsed by the International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP), European Federation of Organisations for Medical Physics (EFOMP), Middle East Federation of Medical Physics (MEFOMP). This is the first time the AFOMP congress is going to be held in Bangladesh. The co-organizers are United International University (UIU), South Asia Centre for Medical Physics and Cancer Research (SCMPCR), National Institue of Cancer Research and Hospital (NICRH), and Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC).
More than 500 delegates from home and abroad are expected in this hybrid congress. The organizing committee plans to publish an abstract proceeding and hold different categories of sessions, meetings, mini-symposium, vendor sessions, exhibitions through the Online Platform and Offline (physical booths). A congenial atmosphere will be created in AOCMP-2021 where the scientists can exchange their ideas freely.
EFOMP will be represented by Prof Golam Zakaria, DGMP- Germany, member of the EFOMP Artificial Intelligence Working Group.
