The Department of Clinical Medicine at Faculty of Health at Aarhus University invites applications for a position as Postdoc in the field of medical physics as per 1 October 2020 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is a three year full-time position in the project “QA manager for the international PROTECT trial”.

About the research project
Proton therapy is an emerging technique for treatment of cancer patients. A European consortium has initiated the international phase III trial (PROTECT) randomizing oesophageal cancer patients between standard photon radiotherapy and proton therapy treatment. The trial will recruit approximately 500 patients in a time frame of five years. 

Your job responsibilities
As Postdoc in medical physics your position is primarily research-based but may also involve teaching assignments. You will contribute to the development of the department through research of high international quality. In your daily work, you will work closely with colleagues on your project, where you will receive supervision and guidance.
