Cyberattacks on healthcare institutions have been on a sharp rise in the past years. Several radiation oncology departments in the United States and Europe have experienced cyberattacks in various forms and at varying degrees of severity.

The purpose of this questionnaire is to survey the features of cyberattack contingency plans (CP) across radiation oncology departments across North America and Europe. A brief survey on recovery plans (RP) is included at the end.

This is a study under the AAPM Task Group 393, which is supported by both by the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and the European Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (EFOMP). This survey has been compiled by the Joint AAPM/EFOMP Working Group “Radiation Oncology Contingency Plan Against Cyberattacks' (TG393)”.
