The German Society for Medical Physics is organising its 56th annual conference at a location of historical significance for physics. Under the leadership of Prof. Dr Markus Buchgeister and Prof. Dr Andrea Denker, the conference aims to honour the field, strengthen networking and exchange the latest research results.
The programme of the DGMP 2025 Annual Meeting in Berlin will continue the proven and new topics of recent years. One of the new focal points will be medical optics, which will become more of a focus for the society. Appropriately the radiotherapy of eye tumours will be represented as a further accent, which is a particular highlight by the internationally renowned proton irradiation center of the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Helmholtz Center Berlin am Wannsee.
