The department of radiation oncology at the cantonal hospital of Graubünden treats on average 850 new patients per year with state-of-the-art radiotherapy treatment techniques. It is equipped with a CT scanner, two modern linear accelerators, the Eclipse treatment planning system, the Aria patient management system and with modern equipment for dosimetry and quality assurance. The department is ISO-Norm 9001:2015 certified.
The medical physics team consists of four medical physicists, two dosimetrists and a medical engineer. Dosimetrists are involved in all aspects of routine treatment planning and treatment planning QA, and contribute to the implementation of new treatment planning techniques and to the development of the clinical service.
