Dear colleagues and friends from EFOMP,

We would like to draw your attention on the International School ‘Frontiers in Medical Physics’, which will be held from July 1^st to July 6^th 2025. This is part of the International School of Physics “Enrico Fermi” organized by the Italian Society of Physics (SIF). The school will address cutting edge topics in medical physics, ranging from advanced imaging modalities to new therapeutic approaches and artificial intelligence. These topics will be presented by worldwide recognized lecturers, involved in the most innovative areas of medical physics.

The school will offer an exciting opportunity to meet colleagues and experts in the field, with plenty of networking possibilities for direct interaction with the international faculty during the entire school duration. Moreover, it will give the participants the opportunity to present their research topics and receive feedback from international experts. The unique venue of Villa Monastero will offer the ideal setting to share time and ideas in daily social events and during the lectures.

The school is particularly addressed to PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, along with graduate students  undergoing their specialization in medical physics as well as young professionals and researchers who want to extend their knowledge in the frontiers in advanced magnetic resonance and x-ray imaging, external beam radiation therapy, and AI in imaging and therapy technologies.
